My name is Renee Peterson. I come from a long line of Las Crucens, five generations to be exact! My great grandfather was among the very first settlers to this valley. My forefathers farmed much of the land, including part of what is now Main Street. They played large roles in and had much to do with the formation of many things that make Las Cruces what it is today. I owned a Flower and Gift Shop here for almost a decade and during that time I met many wonderful people and formed lasting friendships. I discovered how much I enjoy working with people on a one-on-one basis. I thrive on doing things that help enrich peoples lives and if, along the way, I can continue to walk in the steps of my ancestors by creating a better Las Cruces, "Life is Good".
